Gotuit Media. Technical Producer
September, 2004- Current
Gotuit is a 3rd party supplier of Video On Demand (VOD) products to cable systems. In the Technical Producer position I play a role in the development, delivery and maintenance of VOD assets for viewing by customers. The role of a Technical Producer at GoTuIt is a varied one utilizing an extensive knowledge of television production, computer networks and cable television VOD systems. In addition the Technical Producers aid the Production Manager in managing the team to meet production deadlines and accomplish any goals or tasks received. The Technical Producers are also vital in providing information to better streamline the production team's process.

- Multi-Media\DVD Technician
May 2004 - September, 2004
As a multi-media\DVD technician responsibilities include replicating DVDs, CDs and other forms of digital media. In addition to replication responsibilities also include authoring of DVDs, encoding of media to mpeg 2, mpeg 1 and other digital video files, director projects, editing on NLEs, digital audio and video manipulation and restoration, and a wide variety of work brought to us by our clients. On a daily basis projects have a wide variety of variables requiring very close attention to details and brief turn around times.

- Production Technician
September 2001 - May 2004
As a production technician, responsibilities include producing copies on various professional formats of audio-visual media as well as mass production consumer media, mastering audio and video, performing fiber feeds, telestream (digital delivery of video and audio over the internet), DVCPro HD as well as Sony's several formats of HD.

Production Assistant - June, 1998 - June, 2001
In the Production Assistant position I aided in many aspects of production. Duties have included, inventory of tape stock and recharges to projects, duplication of media, maintenance and stock of equipment and the Avid systems, and purchasing of equipment. In this position I participated in a few shoots, aided in strategy for acquisition to on-line, created a system of importing stills from the network to the Avid systems, as well as a variety of other regular projects and duties. As a Production Assistant I designed and created the Henry Hampton In Memory web site.

IT Administrator - May, 1999 - June, 2001
As IT Administrator I was responsible for all computer and phone systems. This included such aspects as management NT servers, windows and Mac workstations (including Avid systems), purchasing of computers and internet/telephone services. Additional responsibility included aiding the web design group in web site deployment, creation and streaming of media. You can view some web clips I made at www.pbs.org/hopes/video.html

Enemy Records home page WWW official site - Web Master - July 1996 - June 1998
Created and maintained a web site for Enemy Records. The site featured Real media clips, graphics from the CDs including the inserts, press clippings and promotional pictures. The current site is NOT my work.

Quality Assurance - January 1997 - March, 1998
As a "game tester" in Quality Assurance there are many duties. Finding "bugs" in the game, updating the databases, verifying fixes in the game, track down "the cause" of bugs, as well as a variety of other duties. I worked on British Open Championship Golf and Flight Unlimited II.

Chedd-Angier WWW site Asst. Production Manger - Feb., 1994 - Jan, 1995
Responsibilities included preparation of production rigs, rental of needed equipment from local rental houses, maintenance of off-line edit suites, stock of production equipment and materials, couriering equipment, the creation, organization and maintenance of a footage library including associated databases. In addition to these daily responsibilities I also worked as a grip for local shoots for Scientific American Frontiers, as well as other productions by Chedd-Angier.


Brown Brothers & Harriman - Asst. Head of Mail Operations - Jan 1991 - Aug 1993
Basic duties entailed distribution and collection of in and out of house mail, priority  mailings  (UPS, FedEx),  taking care of interoffice armored courier mail. In the event of my supervisor's absence I was responsible for mail operations. The mail operations included 3 mailrooms, and  up to 15 people. I left in September of 1992 to attend Emerson College and continued on a part time basis until August of  1993.
